Ed wards & M'Boath say whethor it is n practice in thoir office that bofore undertaking to assist in proouring situations tho applicant is compelled to pay 2a Gd, for whioh ho is prtvilipred to have his name writton in a cortaiu book, which for tho want of a hotter namo I will call " Applicants' Situations Book."
