At a meeting of the creditors of Jans Mullins, boarding-house keeper, yestorday, it was shown that she purchased the house for .£I3OO, paying .£SO down, tbe balance to be paid in instalments of JBIO per month, four of which she paid. Slio had paid nono of her creditors, but. had obtained goods from them, and given a Lill-of-sulo on articles obtained on orodit. The Deputy 'Official Assignee said that in all his experionce he had nover had a oiso like the present one. If tbe credit us prosecuted sufficient evidence would bo obtainable to cause the Judge to oxeroiso the summary olauaes of tho Bankruptcy Aat. The debtor said she would have paid her creditors in full had she beon allowed sufficient time. She had expeoted that the new railway station would havo been erected by this time, and increased her business. She had spent .£2OO since she came to Palmorston. It was decided that tho debtor should be publioly examined.
