THE INQUEST ON IRVINGD BISHOP.
LORD SALISBURY ON 81-METALLISM. BY BLECTEIC TELEGRAPH— COPYKiaHT. [UNITED PEESS ASSOCIATION.] London, 30th May. At the inquest upon the body of the late [rving Bishop, the thought-reader, the jury brought in a verdict to the effect that he iied from coma, and the doctors who were taken into custody have been released. Lord Salisbury, replying to a strong and representative deputation from the Bi-metal-lic League, expressed a hope that tho subject would be thoroughly discnssed by the International Monetary Congress which is to meet at Paris in the autumn. "Whatever action England might take would depend largely on its power to persuade other nations to a similar way of thinking. Mr. Finch-Hatton attends tho Sydney Cable Conference.
