¦? THE IRISH DELEGATES. IMPENDING STRIDE AT NEWCASTLE. [UNITED PREBB ASSOCIATION. I Stdney, l2th May. Sir T. Esmonde and Messrs. .7. Dillon and Deasy, the Irish delegates, arrived here last night and received a great ovation, immense crowds turning out to meet them. Troublo ia brewing among the colliera at Newcastle. The men working in the South Waratah Mine have passed a resolution demanding an increase of Cd per ton in the hewing rates, and aB the proprietors do not feel inclined to agree to the request, a strike is feared.
