Information of a terrible domeatio tragedy has juet reached the ears of the police. It appear that one day last weok a man named Thompson had some words with his wife, and at the height of the ijuarrol stabbed the unfortunate woman, who was enceinte, in the abdomen, -with, * i arge bntcher'B knife which' ho was using at the time. The woman died last night, Mid "in her dying depositions stated that she believed the ooourrence was accidental. The man has, however, been arrested on a charge of wilful murder.
