THE FRENCH GOVERNMENT DECIDES TO CONTRIBDTE. BY ELECTEIC TELEGRAPH. — COPYRIGHT. IBEUTBB'B TXLIOBAHB.] Paeis, 29th December. The time for receiving applications for space having been extended, the French Government have decided that France shall participate in the Melbourne Exhibition. The French Consul at Melbourne has been appointed Commissioner-General, and the Minister for the Colonios institutes a Commission forthwith, ho himself acting aa president of the Commission.
