TOTAL DESTRUCTION OF THE CARGO. BY ELECTRIC TELEGRAPH. — COPYRIGHT. Ireuter's telegbahs. I Melbourne, 17th September. The barque Mary Blundell, 822 tons, which recently arrivod from Hamburg, while unloadi g at a wharf near the gasworks, took firo at noon to-day, and is now (4 p.m.) still burning. 18th September. Tho fire in tho barque Mary Blundell was extinguished last night, but it is believed that the cargo, which is valued at i 516,000, has been entirely destroyed by fire and water.
