Oata continue to rule ai low rates, say from Ja lid to 2s Id for really good samples; oatmeal, from £10 Ss to £l01Cs; chaff, £3 10s to £4 10s ; flour, unchanged at £10 for aacki ipollard, £4 10s ; bran, £4 ; fowls' whe t, 3s 6d to 3s 8a ; maize, 4s 6d to 4s 9d ; feed barley, 2s 9d to 2s lOd ; beans, 3s 9d; peas, 3s 6d ; rye Braes, 3s 6d ; Derwent potatoes, 60s to 65s per ton, according to quality ; onions, £5 10s to £6 lOi per ton ; cheese dull at 4d to 6d per lb ; fresh butter. 7d to 8d ; rags 2s 6d per doz. The market has not been supplemented i>y a single shipment of fruit during the week; stocks, however, in retail hands remain ample, there having been quite an absence of business, owing to the extremely inclement state of the weather* and. therefore, the non-arrival of supplies has not affected market prices in the slightest degree. Largo shipments of poultry command only fair enquiry, and we repeat last week's quotations, fowls, is fld to 8s; ducks, Ss 6d; turkeys, 8s; and geese 5s per pair."
