As tho result of tho enquiry held by Sir Hercules Robinson at Mauritius Sir J. Pope Hennessy has beon suspended from tho Governorship of that colony. The New Zealand Shipping Company's R.M.S. Kaikoura arrived at Plymouth yesterday morning. Her cargo of meat was in good condition. The Australian's mails from Melbourne, ISth November, wero delivered to-day, via Brindisi. Latest information regarding tho Bnowstorms show that fully 70 per cent, of the telegraph lines havo be'en injured, and that it will tako three months to repair them. The Commissioners of the several colonies havo been notified that they will be required to remove all thoir exhibits from the Indian and Colonial Exhibition buildings by 19th January. Sir P. C. Owen has roturned to tho Agents-Gonoral the colonial guarantee agreements. Sir Horoulea Robinson, who was sont to Mauritius to hold an enquiry into tho disagreements existing betweon Sir J. Pope Hennessy, Governor of tho Island, and Mr. Clifford Lloyd, Lieutenant-Govornor, has suspended the former for creating a breaoh between classes. Sir W. D. Jervo'a is moutioned as his successor.
