An elderly man named Gordon, while employed at carting in the Dowling-stroet cutting, had his leg broken by a dray falling on him. He was employed removing stone at the site of the recent fatal blast. - Gabterton, 18th May. Mr. Ben Sewoll, one of Messrs. Booth & Co.'b employes, died from the effects of an accident at the mill this afternooD. He was crushod betwoen two logs, and only lived about an hour. Deceased was an old settler, and had been working for Messrs. Booth & Co. for many years.
