J [BFBCIAL TO HKLBOTmHB ABOU9.] London, 6th September, 6.55 a.m. A portion of the Turkish troops have arrived at Port Said, and disembarked there. It is reported that a plot against the lives of the Europeans has been diaoovered in Alexandria, and the information given led to the finding of a stock of 3000 rifles and 6000 bludgeons concealed in a mosque. Some Greek spies have been arrested.
