LATEST INTELLIGENCE.
THE COMMAND OP THE TURKISH TROOPS. [bedtbk's tblsobuo.] Constantinople, 4th September. The negotiations between the British Ambassador and the Forte, for the conclusion of the proposed Anglo-Turkish military convention to govern the joint operations of tho English and Turkish troops in Egypt, are still proceeding. The negotiations are now known to be progressing favourably, and there seems every probability of the convention being concluded. Dervisch Pasha has been appointed to the command of the troops to be despatched to Egypt, and Baker Pasha has been appointed chief of the staff.
