William Robertson, a previous offender, \ras charged with having on the 30th nit. •tolen a suit of clothes, pair of boots, tronsms, Ac, value 30s, belonging to David Mason. It was stated that another charge of a somewhat similar nature was pending against the prisoner, who, on the application ot Sergeant Anderson, waa remanded till to-morrow, with a view to a Becond information being taken out. FALSE REPRESENTATIONS. • Anton Hansen appeared to answer a charge of* having at Master ton obtained 5s from James Tidswell by means of fraudulent representations, and was remanded to Masterton.
