Wind— Between south-woßtand north-west at all places north of Napier, and between southeast and south-west at all other placs. Babohetxb— Furthor rice at all stations, but falling after 16 houra. Bba— Moderate on western coast ; heavy between Lyttelton and Castlepoint. Wabnincis issued yestei day continue in force. SYNOPSIS OF LABT 24 HOURS. On the East Coast, between Lyttelton and Napier, a strong southerly gale has continued with ruin and heavy sea.
