I Timartt, 15fch October. Mr. J. H. Sutter, Mayor of Timaru, has consented to stand for Gladstone. Another candidate for the same district is coming forward. Mr. Wakefield received votes of confidence at Winchester on Friday night, and Geraldine last night. Blenheim, This Day. Mr. E. T. Conolly is a candidate for Picton. Tauranoa, This Day. Mr. G. V. Stewart addressed tho eleitor3 of Opotiki on Friday evening, and was well received. A hearty voto of thanks was to .the candidate. ; - Auckland, This Day. Mr. Mitcheleon has finally decided to stand for Marsden.
