Company's steam&hip Ravenna, which lett Southampton on tho 24th August, arrived in King George's Sound last night with tho outward mails via Suez and Brindisi, dated London, 9th September. Sidney, This Day. Several of the smallpox patients at quarantine are reported to be seriously ill. Melbourne, This Dat. Telegrams are to hand from Port Darwin announcing that tho Eastern and Australian Mail Steamship Company's Bteamer Brisbane, bound from Hong Kong to Brisbane, has struck on a. reef in Clarence Strait, about 30 miles from Port Darwin. Assistance has b^en sent from the latter place, and as the weather is fine, it is hoped the steamer may be got off without injury.
