« THE SMALL-POX OUTBREAK. THE ALLEGED LEICHARDT RELICS. SERIOUS FIRE IN QUEENSLAND. Leeoter's telegrams. I Sydney, 18th September. Sailed, yesterday evening — Union Company's steamship Albion, for Auckland. No fresh cases of small-pox, leither in the city or suburbs, have been reported to the Board of Health sinco Tuesday last, the 13th inst. A further number of persons, who have been detained for some time in quarantine, have now been released. BursBANE, This Dat. Mr. Skuthorpe again insists that he possesses relics of the Leichardt expedition, and he offers to deliver them to the New South Wales Government on payment of a considerable sum. A. large tire occurred at Townsville on Friday night last. Several houses were completely destroyed. Th« insurance have not yet been ascertained.
