KUMARA, THIB DAT. A public meeting was held at the Town Hall last night, pursuant to a requisition to the Mayor There was a large attendance. The following resolutions were carried unanimously:— l. That this meeting strongly condemns the pr noiples of the Representation Bill now passing through final stages in the House of Representatives, and protests against the disfranchisement of Westland. 3.° That copies of the foregoing resolutions be forwarded to tha members representing the West Coast, and also to the Speaker and members of the Legislative Council.
