Labby & Campbell report that there was rather more life in their sale to day, notwithstanding the wretched weather. Apples realised fair value; pears did not Bell, owing to insufficiency in the bidding ; oranges, 7a 6d to 8a ; lemons, 14b to 15s ; mandarines, 93 to 10s ; oranges and lemons mixed, 12s ; fowls, 3s 9d ; turkeys, 4s; fresh butter, Bjd to lOd ; eggs, Is 2d to Is 3d, but the demand was soon supplied; cheese, hams and bacon still remain a drug, with little or no enquiry ; potatoes are in good supply, and pric©3 remain at former quotations ; onions and other produoe are unaltered.
