FATAL GUN ACCIDENT AT CARTERTON. [UNITED PRESS ASSOCIATION]
Carterton, This Day. Henry Goodin, a rab biter, accidentally shot himself on Saturday afternoon, and died a few hours afterwards. Hia dogs hod attacked some tame pigs, and Goodin struck at them with the stock end of hia gun, hitting the ground, and discharging the contents of both barrels below tha chest. The gun was at full cook.
