BREACH OF PROMISE CASE.
f united press association. | Dunedin, This Day. The case, M. Simonsen v. Joseph Soloman, an action for alleged breach of promise of marriage, was heard in the Supreme < onrt this morning. Defendant appeared and said he was, and always had been, prepared to fulfil his promise. Plaintiff's counsel said this was the first they had heard of such a thing, and plaintiff pressed for the only reparation possible in the circumst&nces. The jury returned a verdict for J8125.
