At an inquest on the fire at Mr. Jago's house, the jury returned a verdiot that it was accidentally caused. It was sought to be shown that a case of jewellery insured in the Liverpool and London Office for £100 had not been burnt, and Mr. Jago aud his son both agreed that the hoat was not sufficient to destroy the jewellery, bnt both swore to not having been able to find it, or any trace of it since the fire.
