IBEUTEB'B TELEGRAMS. | London, 10th May. Consols remains at 102f. The New Zealand 5 per cent. 1889 loan has advanced i per cent., and is now quoted at 104, ex div. The 4\ per cent. 1879-1904 is qnoted at 101|, an advance of \ per cent. The 5 per cent. 10-40 loan remains at 104£. Adelaide and New Zealand breadstuffa and Australian tallow are unchanged. The May-June series of colonial wool auctions commenced to-day. There was a good attendance of home and foreign buyers. The opening catalogue comprised 5,200 bales. The bidding was animated, but crosa-breds ruled one halfpenny to one penny per pound lower than the closing rates of last sales.
