Labbt ac Oampb&ll reoort that although apples are getting scaroe prices have not materially improved; at auction to-day they brought 7b to 8b; quinces, 7s ; flue large walnuts 8d par lb ; for Bmu.il nuts tuere was no demand ; Taimaniera pears, 12a but there are very few oases in the market ; potatoes, £i 10a to £5, the deuand not improving at all; onionß are still Blow ol Bale at £1 10 ato £5 ; in oats, maize and chiokenfeed there ia literally notbing doing.it being impossible to sell more than hand to mouth lota ; cheese iB without enquiry, 4d to4jd being tho nominal price; hams ucd bacon, in oloth, guaranteed, may be quoted at 9d to 9_d; no freßh butter in the market since laatrepoit; eggs, 2b 5d to 2j OJ. for guaranteed IreaU and good; fowls, 3a ad to 3a 6d per pair ; geese, 4a 6d each ; duoks, ia 6d per pair.
