♦ [from our own corrkBpondknt. | Htjtt. This Dat. The Commissioners of tbo Licensing Bench — Mr. E. Shaw, K.M. (Chairman), Messrs. W. Fitzherbcrt, W. Beetham, and J. C. Cruickshank— sat to-day. Tho quarterly licensing meeting was adjourned for a fortnight for applicants to select fresh sites, the former ones being objected to. In the civil case England v. Robinson, a claim of £o, heard before the Bench, plaintiff was nonsuited.
