From Constable taster** evidence, it appeared that Randall was found wandering about the Pahautanui district. When cap* tared, he was so violent that it required two men to take charge of him. In Court he said he had been attacked with a fit of the " blues " for the past two or three days. He" was remanded for a week, it being deemed that a brief incarceration would be likely to restore him. : ' . - „ A NIOLICTID CHILD. James Craig, aged 4 years, was brought before the Court under the Neglepted Criminal Children Act. His mother is a woman. of bad repute, and is at present serving a term of imprisonment, leaving her boy to be dragged from brothel to brothel.
