Laert & CampbhiiTi. report selling Sydney apples at 6a to' 88, but a large quantity wero withdrawn, being hi excellent condition and the market overstocked ; Nelson apples. ss; apples and pears, plums and pears, mixed, 7a to 6b per half oase; pears unsaleable ; plums, 63 6d per hall case ; green gages, 7s ; lemons, 19s per oase; tomatoes, 6a per oaaa ; pine apples, 6a per doa. ; cucumbers, 1b to la 9d. The market is quite swamped with fruit by shipments per Tararua and Rotomahana. Eggs still realize la 3d with downward tendency ; no fresh butter has lately come to hand; part of a parcel of oats offered on Monday were sold at la 9d, balanoe withdrawn ; potatoes and onions are still slack of sale and there la no other change in produoe to repoit.
