Arrived, 10.30 a.m.—Graf ton, from Wellington. Onehunoa, 18th January. Bailed—Penguin, for South. Passengers for Wellington—Messrs. Wheeler, Griffiths (2) and Lord. Foxton, 19th Janaary. The steamers Tul and Stormbird went down to the bar last night, bat had to return, owing to tho heavy sea. TTaptbb. 19th January. Arrived, 4 a.m.—Kiwi, from Onstlepoint. Castlbpoiht, 16th January. Arrived, 6 a.m.—Go-Ahead, from Wellington.
The B.s. Wanaka left Nelson at 11 a m. yeaterday, experienced thick, dirty weather, and arrived at JPicton at 8 p.m. ; Bailed again at 31 p m., had fine weather, and arrived here at 4 o'clock thifl morning. She exiled South this afternoon. The b a. Hawea left Port Chalmers on the 17th January at 1 p m., Akaroa at 7.80 a.m. yesterday, Ijy ttolton at tt p.m. Bame day, and arrived here fit 9.30 this morning She sails North to-morrow. The as. Jane Douglas arrived at 8.30 last evening from Foxton and Rangitikei. She Bails (or Kaikoura and Lyttelton at 7 o'clock this evening. The b.s. Napier arrived from Blenheim at 2 o'olook this morning. She returned to some port this afternoon. The B.s. Huta left Wanganui at 11.45 last night, crossed the bar at 12.15, had strong N.W. wind with heavy eea and rain, and arrived at 11.15 this morning. Sho return* to Wanganui to-night The p a. Manawatu left Wanganui at midnight yesterday, and arrived here at 12.20 p.m. to-day. She returns to-morrow. The brigantine Mary Bannatyne arrived from Lyttelton yesterday afternoon. The topsail schooner Hannah Barratt arrived here last night with a cargo ot timber from Kaipara. The schooner Fleetwing, from Greymoutb, with a oargo of coal, arrived yesterday. The steamers Go-Ahead for Caatlepoint and Napier, and Wakatu for Wanganui and Nelson, sailed last evening. The departure of the Patea for Patea has been postponed until this afternoon. The s.s. Kennedy should arrive to-morrow morning from tho West Coast and Nelson, and returns to same ports in the evening. The cutter yacht Lily, 10 tons, arrived here yesterday Xrom Pioton. We believe it is intended to put her in for the yacht race at the regatta on Saturday next. - The steamer Qtilton is advertised to leave on Friday for Neteon and the Weat Coaat.
