TURKEY.

The revolution at Crete is gaining headway. Skirmishes' have taken plsce in Thessuly, particularly at Pestia, where the Turks lost heavily. Greek brigands recently ambuscaded 46 Turkish soldiers in the district of Turkala. They killed 14, and cut up their bodies and hung the pieces on trees. Encounters between Turks and Arnauts near J'pek, in Albania, ip which 60 of ths latter were killed, are reported.
