At Ash burton to day Alfred Moray was committed for trial for larceny of a cheque from a farmer named Proctor. It has heen raining all day. All the northern rivers are in flood. The Waipara is again impassable. There are no signs of the weather improving. Three neglected children arrived by the Hawea from Napier, whence they were committed to the Burnuam Industrial School.
