The coincidence attracted the attention of the official in charge of the deciphering bureau. Inquiry showed that the son of the woman lived in the town whoße name was postmarked on the letter. After various inquiries, the letter was given to the woman, with the proviso that she Bhould open it there ; and it was found to be from her son, and designed for her.
