r^ENTLEMKN— It becomes my pleasing V3T duty to inform you that I have been Nominated as a Candidate for the office of Mayor of the City of Wellington, and I beg respectfully to solicit your votes and support. The Election will take place on Tuesday, the 27th May, and it is my intention to address tbe ratepayers in each ward prior to thai date, in order that I may explain my views on tbe various subjects likely to engage the attention of the City Council. Notice will be published in the Newspapers fixing the dates for the meetings, and stating where they will be held, as soon as the necessary arrangements are made.
