The Caledonian Sports yesterday were splendidly attended, 3710 having paid admission money at the gates, independent cf children, who were free, and members of the association, who used their tickets. All the events were well contested. The prize for the best- dressed Highlander was won by Mr. Millar, the wellknown proprietor of the Rlverton line of coaches, the remarkakle thine about it being that the handsome dress in which he appeared 'was a presentation to him by a number of people and friends, made a few days befere.
