The Wellington arrived from Nelson vii Ficton yesterday morning, and left again samf morning with excursionists for Ficton, return ing to Wellington at 1.30 this morning. The steamer Hula left Foxton at 3.30 pjn yesterday, and arrived hers at 1 o'clock thii morning. She leaves for Wanganui to-mqirow The a.H. Bangatira, from Napier and Povertj Bay, cnme into port at 9 o'clook this morning and retoftu to same ports to-morrow. A handsomely modelled cantre-board topsai schooner the Laurel arrived in port tliis morn ing from Hobart Town. Captain Lane report* caving left Hobart Town on the 17th De comber, and experienced strong N.W. anc northerly gales on the passage, whioh prevented her from making good her northing, tberebj causing a somewhat protracted passage of If days. The Laurel is nearly a new vessel, bull) by Mr. T. Inches, of Shipwrights' Point. She carries a large cargo on a very light draught oi water, ifi a very fast sailer and a good sea boat The vessel is consigned to Captain Bendall, and is for Bale or charter. The 8.3. Wanaka, horn Auckland via the Easi Coast, will arrive tomorrow, and sail Soutt snmeday.
