There was a large attendance at Messrs. F H. Wood & Co.'s sale of Mr. Knight's stock at Tauherctiiknn on Tuesday last. The demand for horses was not very groat, but several were knocked down at prices ranging from £5 to £26 ; a diminutive pony, 11 hands 1 inch, fetched £19 10s. Cattle fetched the following prices :— Yeariingß, £2 2s; steers. £4 7s 6d; cows, £6 10s. A large quantity of produce was disposed of, potatoes realising £6 2s Gd per ton, and carrots £1. The well-known entire Sir William Wallace was offered, but bought in, as the reservo value ivas not obtained.
