Augabde & Co. report :— There was a limited number of cattle and horses at the Hutt market yesterday. Cows in full milk, with calves at foot. £6 Via Gd ; saddle horses, £10 ; light draught, ' MlO to £20. Furniture and effects at Valentine's realised good prices. The attendance was large and bidding brisk. Mr. Fbancis Sidey's sale of rough store pigs *.t Kaiwarra yesterday was ¦well attended. About 70 were sold, averaging 9a each.
