The steamers Jane Douglas and Tui arrived in harbor at 9 o'clock last night, from Foxton. The former made the run in about eight hours, and the latter in eight liourß fifteen minutes. The Tui lsaveq for Ktukoura und Lyttelton this eveniug, and the Jane Douglas returns to Foxton at 10 p.m. The Wanaka left Port Chalmers at 1.45 p.m. on the 3rd inst., urrived at Lyttolton at 8.45 a.m. on the 4th, left at 5.45 p.m. same day, and arrived at Wellington at 1 p.m. to-day. She leaves again this evening for Auckland via the East Coaat. The steamors Taupo and Hinemoa sailed last evening for the south. In consequence of the boisterous weather last evening, the sailing of the steamers Manawatu and Napier was postponed until to-day. The former left at 9.15 a.m. to-day for Wanganui, and the latter goes to Blenheim this evening. The s.s. Wellington, for Nelson via Picton, got away Bhortly after 1 o'clock this afternoon. The steamer Taranaki, from Port Chalmers and Lyttelton, -will arrive here early to-morrow morning. She leaves for Onehunga via Kelson and Taranaki same day. The steamer Albion, from Melbourne via the South, will arrive here to-morrow. She returns to Melbourne via the South on Sunday.
