AUCKLAND. 4th September.
An inquiry was commenced to-day before the Collector of Customs re the collision between the Taupo and Kate M'Gregor. Mr. Montague, agent for Mr. Cnarbonnette, the eminent pianist, arrived by the Rotorua. His principal comes by the next steamer for a New Zealand tonr.
