Sailed.— 3.4o p.m., Ringarooraa, for Lyttelton, with Suez mail. Lyttelton, 25th August. Arrived. — Halcione, ship, from London, 85 days from land to land, and 91 from the Lizard; all well. Captain Croker is in command. The vessel met with remarkably heavy weather during the latter portion of the passage. An able seaman named William Wescott was lost overboard whilst making fast the maintopmast staysail on the 25th July. 26th August. Arrived. — Early, Arawata, from Wellington. 9.50 a.m., Ringarooma, from Port Chalmers. Auckland, 25th August. Arrived. — 11 p.m., Hero, from Sydney. She left the same day as the Ringarooma left Melbourne, and brings no later news. Napier, 26th August. Sailed. — Rangatira, for Wellington, at 9.15 this morning. Passengers — Revs. Messrs Anderson and Townsenu, Miss Gully, Mrs Wright, Mr and Mrs Jones, Messrs Hawkins, Biffrein, Ward, Coake, and Stuart. The Kiwi left at 10.15 this morning for Wellington. Passenger — Miss Cooper. Wanganui, 26th August. Arrived. — 1.45 p.m., Stormbird, from Wellington. Sailed. — 1.15 p.m., Manawatu, ibr Wellington. Picton, 26th August. Arrived.— 2.lo p.m., Hawea, from Wellington.
