The Jockey Club have resolved to take the professional advice of an engineer as to draining the old course, and putting a bank round it to protect it from flood, owners of property adjacent contributing towards the expense. Arrangements have been made tor the next Agricultural Show on the 17th October. Among the prizes will bo a £50 cup.
