Captain Williams' brigs Robin Hood and Neptune left Wellington for Newcastle on the 29th ult., and after a passage of 11 days both vessels arrived at their destination, the latter beating the former by six hours. Private advices state they sailed again for Wellington on the 12th of the present month, and if so, have had another remarkably close race, as the two brigs were signalled to-day. The Robin Hood was signalled some six or seven hours before the Neptune ; both vessels entered the Heads about 1 30 this afternoon, but as they had not rounded Halswell Point when we went to press, we are unable to give particulars of their respective passages.
