A heavy north-west gale blew t<»»day, and took the roof off Wilson's large circular marquee. The new one made in Auckland was blown to ribbons. The Christchureh Artillery defeated the Duuedin Artillery in the rifle match. The scores were— Christchurch, 626-; Dunedin, 622.
