This Day. (Before J. C. Crawford, Esq., R.M.) DRUXK. Thomas Hamiljm was fined 5s and costs, or in default, 24^bura' imprisonment, for this offence. SUSPICION OF LUNACY. William Harris was brought up on suspicion of being a lunatic, but 'as he seemed to have recovered, he was discharged. THAT WHEELBARROW. Thomas Davis was charged with a breach of the Municipal Corporations Act, by wheeling a I. arrow ou the footpath in Featheraton-street. Defendant pleaded ignorance of the law, and was dismissed with a caution. thre\tesino language. Andrew Parris was charged with using threatening language towards Mary Parris, his wife. Prisoner pleaded not guilty. Mary Parris stated that on the 4th instant prisoner met her in the street and told her he would cut her throat. Tw o witnesses stated that prisoner was never out , of his house, aud consequently could not have been in the street. The case was dismissed. STEALING FRtTCT. John Crowther pleaded guilty to a charge of stealing apples, but as he had already been whipped, he was dismissed with a j caution. AFFILIATION CASE. An affiliation case was settled ont of Court. "'
