TO THE EDITOR OF THE EVENING POST.
Sir— -Are our Provincial legislators, or rather the Executive, mad, or are they in their dotage ? I ask this question because they really betray an amount of ignorance about the true method of conducting one portion of their business that is almost incredible. They have a large and valuable property for sale in the Reclaimed Land, and by way of attracting purchasers they actually charge them a shilling a piece for a paltry lithographed plan of the sections, instead of distributing them gratuitously all over the country, wherever they can get them exposed to view. They might take a lesson from Professor Holloway, or any Insurance Company, who send beautifully engraved show cards or almanacs to anybody that will hang them up. I am, &c, Argus.
