Doyleston
The popularity of the euchre and dance socials held by the Doyleston Hall Committee was demonstrated on Saturday night when there was a very large attendance. The most successful card players were Mesdames H. Dalley and S. Reid, Messrs Dalley and W. Smith. A Monte Carlo dance was won by Miss Stevens and Mr R. Pashby. Lambies' Band played for the dancing and an excellent supper was served. The series will be interrupted this week, the 'next dance under the auspices of the committee to take place on November 25.
