Lakeside

RED CROSS SOCIAL, At the euchre and dance social held in the hall on Saturday evening by the Lakeside sub-branch of the Red Cross Society, there was a large attendance and' a very enjoyable time was spent. The most successful card-players were Miss N. Sloan and Mrs Laing, Messrs J. Anderson and R. Skilling. Music for the dances was played by Miss Greenwood, while Mr E. Winchester was M.C. A Monte Carlo was won by Miss R. Stace and Mr R. McLaughlin. Supper was supplied by members of the branch. The following donated prizes: Mesdames J. Webster, Livingston Chambers, W. Winchester, G. L. Barnett and A. E. Brown. .
