CALF-REARING PROJECT
Boys' and Girls' Agricultural Clubs J Results of Championship P()ijits Awarded for Dairy Type, Condition, and Records by Pupil The North Canterbury Executive of the Boys' and Girls' Agricultural Club movement has completed the judging of the calf-rearing competition. The area from Kaikoura to the Rakaia was organised into 14 groups each of which conducted a competition to find the champion calf in its own area. The 14 calves so selected were again judged by the central judges. Points were awarded for dairy type, condition, and records kept by pupil. She is a Std. 3 pupil. Leslie Lassen-is a son of Mr G. A. Lassen, chairman of the Greenpark School Committee, a .member of the executive for Canterbury, and a very keen supporter of the movement. Competition was open to pupils of Stds. 3, 4, 5, ,and 6 of all Canterbury schools.
