Springston South
The Ladies' Wesley Guild held its meeting at the home of Mrs J. Woods, Mrs E. J. Harris presiding. Competitions were won by Mrs W. Keast and Mrs T. Hamilton. A sewing competition, judged by Mrs Cottom, resulted:—Mrs J. Woods 1, Mrs W. Keast 2. The hostesses were Mrs C. J. Woods and Misses V. Shackel and M. Keast.
Mr and Mrs W. Musson have returned after spending a holiday at "Dunedin and Timaru.
Mr and Mrs V. C. Peters, Mount Pleasant, have returned after spending a holiday at the Selwyn Huts.
Mrs N. E. Durey and her sons have returned to Waikari, after spending a holiday with Mr and Mrs J. Woods.
