At Sedgemere on Tuesday, March 21, Messrs W. E. Simes and Co. will hold a clearing sale on behalf of Mr T. G. Brown, who has leased his farm. Full particulars will be advertised later. The Public Trustee is inviting inquiries for the purchase o* 1 sub-lease of the tfairy farm at Doyleaton comprising 46 acres, in the estate of the late Mr W. Aitken. Full particulars may be obtained from Mr C. G. Fisher, agent of the Public Trustee at Leeston. The New Zealand Meat Board reporting on London meat markets for the week ended February 23, states: Prices for lamb again a shade easier but demand is improving at the lower prices. Prices for lightweight wethers and ewes unchanged, others lower; trade remains slow. Prices unchanged for New Zealand porker pigs and baconers, with quiet mar kets.
