ITS EVILS ATTACKED,

LONDON, October 26

A strong attack on the evils of dancing in Ireland was made by Dr. P. Casey, Roman Catholic Bishop of Ross. "This dancing craze," he said,

"is the greatest moral menace that has struck the people of this country for centuries, because parents and guardians are not doing their duty. "I cannot understand why a father or mother will allow young girls to go alone to dances. They go away from their homes and return any time in the morning. Their parents or guardians do not know what has happened in the meantime. There seems to be a curse on dancing since the days of John the Baptist,"
